United is the first in a series of pieces that are co-joined. Two concise arenas unite to form one entity. The subtlety and variance in the ground color is attributable to wood stain which allow the pops of pigment to come through strong and bold. The two arenas play off of each other in interior and exterior space as well. The patterning that occurs helps to guide your eye through the piece as well.
